CoRide Membership & Ownership Path
Join the movement to build a shared, community-owned rideshare platform. Active drivers and riders can now become part of CoRide Ottawa Cooperative and shape the future of mobility.
Membership Plans
Silver Plan – $1,000
Represents one cooperative share and includes ownership rights and voting privileges.
Join Silver PlanGold Plan – $2,000
Two cooperative shares with enhanced participation in decision-making.
Join Gold PlanDriver Commitments
- Drive at least 12 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months.
- Collaborate with the Shift Organizer and follow assigned schedules.
- Maintain zero cancellations while on shift and under 5% off shift.
- Promote CoRide by displaying stickers and referring new members.
Passenger Participation
Passengers can also participate by maintaining an active CoRide account and taking at least one ride per month. Those who wish to support CoRide’s growth may choose a paid membership plan and commit to:
- Using CoRide as their preferred mobility platform (Switch to CoRide).
- Referring friends, family, and colleagues to use the CoRide app.
- Actively promoting CoRide within their community.
This collective effort helps reduce dependency on foreign apps and strengthens Canada’s first user-owned rideshare ecosystem.
